Hundreds of veterans are believed to be homeless on Long Island, and Matthew Simoni, a former vet who experienced homelessness himself, has teamed up with his wife, Jade Pinto, to help these former service members in need. Their work is highlighted in the film, “Long Island’s Forgotten Heroes," which they discuss tonight.
