(coconutdons chattering) Are you ready for some fun?
- Wee!
(playful music) (pea-rexes exclaiming) - Come on, come on, come on.
- [Narrator] Like many other young vegesaurs, baby coconutdons find fun irresistible.
(coconutdons and pea-rexes exclaiming) - Follow me for more fun.
(playful music) Follow me.

(gentle music) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] Appleflyus are one of the smallest vegesaurs in the valley- (appleflyus buzzes) but don't get too close.
These hummingbird-like creatures- - Ow!
- have a nasty sting- (appleflyus blows raspberry) which can only be treated with its antioxidant-rich tail.
They are nocturnal creatures who pollinate at night.
- Woo-hoo!
- [Narrator] And many vegesaurs are often on the lookout for them, as they know, where an appleflyus goes, a honeysuckle grows.
- [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) Vegesaur Valley.
The view from the snowy peaks is well worth the climb, but Ginger and the young Pea-Rexes haven't come here for the view - Woohoo!
(dramatic music) Woo!
(Ginger laughs) (Ginger gasps) Turn, turn, turn!
Whoa, whoa, woo!
(Ginger laughs) Uh, the less bouldery way?
(peas babbling) (Ginger laughs) Whoa!
(dramatic music continues) Whoa!
Whoa!
(Vegesaurs whooshing) Uh-oh.
Ouch.
(peas clatter) (someone moans) Whose ouch was that?
(someone moans) (Ginger gasps) Whoa.
- [Narrator] A baby Kiwimammuthus.
- Oh, that hurts your feet.
(Kiwimammuthus moans) - [Narrator] The sun has melted much of the snow, revealing rocks too sharp for its soft padded feet.
- Don't panic, my fuzzy friend.
We can help you.
Okay, what's the bounciest, cushiest thing that we know?
(peas babbling) Uh...
Perfect!
(pea babbling) (berry bouncing) - Yeah!
- Let's get trailmaking, trailblazers.
(peas babbling) Okay, all you have to do, as my demonstration team will now demonstrate, is hop from one berry cluster (peas bouncing and babbling) to the next.
(peas bouncing and cheering) Easy!
Your turn.
(Kiwimammuthus moaning) (pea babbling) That's it.
You are on your way.
(berries squishing) - Oh... (Kiwimammuthus moaning) - Hmm.
To protect your feet, we're going to need something stronger, but still squishy.
(Ginger sniffing) (bright music) Rescue team, I need your hands.
(peas babbling) (Ginger grunting) - [Narrator] It's Bananaraptor skin shed during the last season.
- Oh.
- [Narrator] Bananaraptor skin is tough, but also rubbery, which makes it ideal for protecting tender feet, except for one problem.
- Uh-oh.
- [Narrator] It's a bit slippery.
(Kiwimammuthus yelling) (frantic music) - Huh.
(Kiwimammuthus moaning) - We're running out of time and snow.
We need an urgent snow delivery.
I know what we have to do.
Run like the wind!
(peas babbling) (dramatic music) (peas continue babbling) (dramatic music continues) (Ginger panting) Jump!
(peas babbling) (Kiwimammuthus grunts) (Kiwimammuthus moaning) (calm music) (Kiwimammuthus moaning) (calm music continues) (Ginger laughs) Yay!
No more ouchy feet and no more snow problems.
(snow crunches) Hey!
(peas laughing) - [Narrator] There's always time for a bit more fun before the big walk home.
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together!
(laughs) Hiya!
