- Morning, Inspector Blake.
- Miss Scarlet, we seem to have a communication problem.
- In a few mere days, you will make me the happiest man alive.
Bonjour, Eliza.
- Patrick.
- To rock bottom.
The only way is up.
- Oh, he's far from dangerous.
- I said, what do you want?
(gavel banging) - If I were to take your case, it would put me in a difficult position.
- Eliza Scarlet, I'm arresting you on suspicion of murder.
- Think of the worst thing you can imagine.
My friend here will deliver it.
Cease your investigation.
- I have a life outside of work, Miss Scarlet, as I'm sure you do.
- I wondered, might you be free tomorrow evening to dine.
- Oh.
I may not be home for dinner.
- You dining out?
- Possibly.
Whatever happened to in my day, you found a nice man and settled down.
- I'm allowed to change my mind.
They're going to kill him.
(gun shooting) - Oh, Detective Phelps how are you?
